SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed regarding the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated sassa status Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie sassa status and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area daily. The company point created for intervention experiences a high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard sassa status to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
